Willatook Wind Farm

The proposed Willatook Wind Farm is located between Hawkesdale and Orford in south-west Victoria and would comprise up to 59 wind turbines. The area has an excellent wind resource and the project is located adjacent to the existing Tarrone Terminal Station. A battery energy storage system (BESS) is proposed to be included as part of this project.

Hexham Wind Farm

The proposed Hexham Wind Farm is located south-west of Hexham and south-east of Caramut in south-west Victoria. The wind resource is excellent and the project has an existing 500 kV transmission line traversing the site. A battery energy storage system (BESS) is proposed to be included as part of this project.

Whyte Yarcowie Wind Farm

The proposed Whyte Yarcowie Wind Farm is located east, and south of the Whyte Yarcowie township and 190 km north of Adelaide in the northern Mount Lofty ranges of South Australia. The project site has been chosen due to its high wind resource and location near existing transmission infrastructure. Wind Prospect is developing this project on behalf of sister company WP Renewables Ltd. A battery energy storage system (BESS) is proposed to be included as part of this project.

Twin Hills Wind Farm

A battery energy storage system (BESS) is proposed to be included as part of this project.

Waddi Wind Farm

The Waddi Wind Farm is located approximately 15km north-west of the township of Dandaragan and approximately 150 kilometres north of Perth in the mid-west region of Western Australia’s wheatbelt. The project was originally developed by Wind Prospect was granted conditional planning approval for up to 57 turbines by the Shire of Dandaragan on 11 January 2012. The project is now owned by Tilt Renewables.

Bulgana Wind Farm

The Bulgana Wind Farm is part of the Bulgana Green Power Hub which includes a 21 MW / 34 MWh lithium-ion battery storage system. It is located in the Wimmera region of central-western Victoria, about 200 kilometres northwest of Melbourne and 11 kilometres north-east of Stawell.

Yandin Wind Farm

The 214 MW Stage 1 of the Yandin Wind Farm reached financial close in February 2019 and will comprise 51 of Vestas 4.2 MW wind turbines with a capacity factor of around 50%.

Willogoleche Wind Farm

The Willogoleche Wind Farm is located 5km from the town of Hallett in South Australia. The wind farm is located in one of the windiest areas in South Australia. The area has an average wind speed of 8.6 metres per second. Due to its ideal location, it is surrounded by four neighbouring wind farms; The Bluff, Brown Hill, North Brown Hill and Hallett Hill. Those wind farms were also developed by Wind Prospect.
