The Yandin Wind Farm is located in the Mid West region of Western Australia approximately 10 kilometers east of Dongara. The project developed by Wind Prospect received planning approval in 2012 for the entire project.
Alinta Energy acquired the project with RATCH-Australia Corporation later acquiring an equity stake. The first stage of the project consisting of 51 4.2 MW wind turbines commenced construction in 2019 becoming operational in 2021.
