The Uungula Wind Farm is located around 14 kilometers east of Wellington, New South Wales. Investigations commenced in 2011 and a determination under the Part 3A application process was received in 2014. The initial project was developed as part of a joint venture with CWP (now Squadron Energy), which ended in 2016.
Subsequently revised project (developed by CWP), was assessed under the State Significant Development process and approval granted in 2021. Construction of the project commenced in early 2024 and is expected to be completed by 2026.
