The Snowtown Wind Farm is situated near the town of Snowtown in the South Australia’s Mid North region. As one of Wind Prospect’s first wind farm developments, the project received planning approval in early 2004.

TrustPower (now Tilt Renewables) acquired the Snowtown Wind Farm project in 2005. Stage 1 became operational in 2008, and Stage became operational in 2014.

With a combined installed capacity of approximately 377.8 MW, it is one of the largest wind farms in South Australia.
