Situated approximately 7 kilometres to the north of Brinkworth and 145 kilometres north of Adelaide, in South Australia’s Mid North region.
The site of development comprises of four land parcels (totalling approximately 470 hectares), primarily used for cropping and livestock grazing and is favourably located in proximity to Brinkworth Substation and ElectraNet 275 kV transmission line. Once established, the solar farm will generate up to 454 GWh of renewable electricity every year for export, enough to power 55,000 homes.
In February 2025, the Minister for Planning granted Development Approval for the solar farm.
