Situated near Nimmitabel in the Snowy Monaro region. Feasibility investigations for the Boco Rock Wind Farm commenced in September 2008, when the project was publicly announced. The project received its initial planning approval in 2010. The initial project was developed as part of a joint venture with CWP (now Squadron Energy), which ended in 2016.

The wind farm was developed in two stages, with the first stage comprising 67 wind turbines (113 MW total capacity), constructed between 2014 and 2015.

Stage 2 of the Boco Rock Wind Farm received approval in 2017 and was completed in 2021. This stage added an additional 23 wind turbines with a capacity of 32 MW.
