Wind Prospect congratulates Tilt Renewables and QIC on achieving financial close for the Waddi Wind Farm in Western Australia. This is a major milestone for a project that has been many years in the making and a testament to the persistence and commitment of all involved.
Wind Prospect was the original developer of the Waddi Wind Farm, having identified the site, secured land access, undertaken early wind and environmental studies, and achieved planning approval in 2012.
Since acquiring the project, Tilt Renewables has progressed the Waddi Wind Farm through the later stages of development to financial close. This is a genuine “drought-breaking” outcome in a challenging market.
Wind Prospect is proud to have laid the foundations for Waddi and to see the project now move into construction and delivery. We wish Tilt Renewables, QIC and the broader project team every success as the Waddi Wind Farm contributes to Western Australia’s clean energy future.
