As the project nears completion of its Environment Effects Statement, keeping the community informed and involved remains a key priority. Over the coming months, the team will return to the region to share updates, present preliminary findings from environmental and social studies, and listen to community feedback. We’ll be attending the Mortlake Markets on 18 May 2025, and hosting drop-in sessions in Hexham, Caramut and Ellerslie on 19 May 2025, where more detail will be available on impact assessments and proposed mitigation measures. Community members are warmly encouraged to come along, meet the team, and help shape the project’s next steps.
